Training and consultation

Training and consultation use the shared QIAS LIMS lifecycle, while their delivery work is captured in a job-type-specific workbench.

Training

  1. Confirm that you are the assigned trainer and that next instructions were sent.
  2. Open the job’s Training Workflow tab.
  3. Confirm the schedule in Session Progress.
  4. Deliver the training session.
  5. Mark the session completed.
  6. Upload the attendance log and completion report.
  7. Submit the job for review from Next Action.

The completion report is the published client deliverable. Attendance evidence remains internal.

Consultation

  1. Confirm that you are the assigned consultant and that next instructions were sent.
  2. Open the job’s Consultation Workflow tab.
  3. Confirm the schedule in Session Progress.
  4. Deliver the consultation session.
  5. Mark the session completed.
  6. Upload the session summary.
  7. Submit the job for review from Next Action.

The session summary is the published client deliverable. Support documents remain governed by their document visibility rules.

Rescheduling and follow-up

Use the session-progress controls to record a changed schedule and the reason. Record the latest confirmed schedule accurately; QIAS LIMS keeps the operational history for internal users. The client sees the agreed schedule and completion milestone, not internal operational notes or rework details.
